I'd say I made it about half the way there. Now if I could only find that job, that perfect one I keep seeing in my head.
Three and a half years ago I enrolled in the University of Louisiana at Lafayette, or as students/alumni say, UL, or ULL. Me, I prefer UL.
I must use this slow, temporary lull in the job scene to gain as much knowledge as I can about social media, optimization, SEO, online PR, research.....I could go on.
How much time a day, do you think would be sufficient to read, browse, post, .....? Two hours? I think more. Because I have the time. Get it?

Learn about tags, keyword optimization, what is so great about social media
With millions of possibilities to learn about social media and it's affect on PR and information dissemination, it is difficult to choose which way to go. I have enough experience to know that with persistence, you can learn anything. Twitter, Facebook, LinkedIn, Digg, I participate in all and truth be told, I don't feel like it's doing me any good. And as far as blogging goes, I think I should read and post on others before I make my own. But then again, which? There are millions. Is the answer: any? I can participate on any blogs, no matter which, and this will expand my blogging, social media, horizons? Surely.
We shall see.
We shall see.

Employment
Isn't is just great that I finally finish my higher education when the U.S. is in the worst economic state since the Great Depression? Gee Anna, your timing is perfect.
Every time I set out to find a job, and I have taken that trip 3 or 4 times a week, I end up on a dead end street. Or I end up in another country, another state, and that my friends, is not an option for me unless the opportunity was great enough to justify a move. The unemployment rate is over 10% in America right now. Actually, the unemployment rate is much higher if you count the discouraged workers who aren't looking anymore. Or if you count the self-employed who don't look for a job, but their income is decreasing (real estate agents for example). Those things and more considered, the unemployment rate must be close to 25%.
It is sensational, the current state of affairs in America today, it is quite sensational.
